Precinct Information Modelling (PIM) describes the process of creating a virtual 3D model at precinct scale, defined as a special region in built environment. PIM contains all the information pertinent the given precinct held in different data type and supports the process of management and analysis.

Decision-making (DM) at the early building design stages is essential to optimise sustainability performances. Nevertheless, the current methods of optimising building sustainability are complex as they involve multiple design variables and performance objectives. With the development of building information modelling (BIM), complicated buildings can be digitally constructed with precise geometry and accurate information for design optimisation in the early stages of project.

This report examines various aspects of Green Star Communities v1. The first sections deal with greenhouse gas emissions and building information modelling, and a review of the literature about Green Star Communities. The last sections comprise research which considers the Green Star Communities Submission guidelines, the Calculators, and usability.

This paper explains a developed tool that contributes in automation of building energy simulation and providing outputs by using Building Information Modeling (BIM) and modified source code of energy simulation tools. Results showed similar findings indicating the functionality of Automated Building Energy Modeling and Assessment Tool in providing fine-grained outputs.

Abstract:
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to present a review of the implications building information modelling (BIM) is having on the building energy modelling (BEM) and design of buildings. It addresses the issues surrounding exchange of information throughout the design process, and where BIM may be useful in contributing to effective design progression and information availability.

Conducting a plan review to determine whether a building complies with the building code is made much easier with the innovative APR software from SMARTreview. APR works inside Autodesk Revit to collect information relevant to the building code, send it to our APR Cloud Analysis Service to check it against provisions of the International Building Code, and then diosplay the plan review results in the context of the Revit model. Watch this vide to learn about APR and then download it from https://smartreview.biz/
